Looks like someone cursed the Eagles CB Darius Slay. The dude was in top form today and was a threat for the Bengals on the field. He made big passes and defended effectively early on, but things quickly deteriorated. Everyone witnessed the man’s injury and subsequent attempt to get off the ground. But what happened to him?
So far, some stories have surfaced regarding Darius Slay and the situation is not looking good for CB. He suffered a groin strain and had to leave the field. After the strain, he walked awkwardly, which is natural given the injuries. The man went to the medical tent and after several tests things did not look good for him.
The official Philadelphia Eagles X page commented on CB and gave us a huge update. Darius Slay is questionable to return today, according to the team. The guy is most likely out of today’s game and now the Bengals have an excellent chance to turn things around.

Injury Update: CB Darius Slay (groin) is questionable to return.
— Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) October 27, 2024
The 33-year-old made four single tackles in this game, all of which were great and accurate. Because of all these factors, his departure hurt the Eagles, but the team handled it effectively. Jalen Hurts, the quarterback, never lets the momentum slip away, which is why the team is on the brink of victory right now.

On the other hand, there is no new information on Darius Slay’s injury, but it seems that the boy will be rested for the rest of the game. Additionally, doctors may be able to gauge his exact pain level after further testing after the game. While this isn’t a major injury, based on the past few games, it looks like the CB needs to be more careful.
Darius Slay needs to play alert on the field
But why? Shouldn’t the cornerback play hard on defense? Well, yes, the cornerback should act that way, but not at the expense of his own health. The main task here is consecutive injuries to Darius Slay in recent weeks. While these injuries demonstrate his determination, they also put the athlete on the brink of retirement.

Slay suffered a knee injury in the Week 7 game against the New York Giants and was questionable to return. The same thing happened in week 8, but with the groin instead of the knee. CB has injured his knee and hamstring multiple times throughout his career, and a groin injury can indicate how hard he’s pushing himself.
Over seven years, the man had eight exits due to knee problems, one for ankle injuries, one for calf injuries and five for hamstring injuries. And now another injury has been added to the list. We hope CB is fine and nothing terrible has happened to him. Only time will tell what injuries the man sustained.
