A dead, one wounded in a lot of O’Neal Lane cars near Woodwick Avenue – WBRZ

Baton Rouge – One man is dead and two injured after a Thursday morning crash at O’Neal Lane.

The coroner was summoned to one body and the ambulances brought two people to the hospital from O’Neal’s crash on Avenue Woodwick around 6:20.

East Baton Rouge parish deputies said the crash was caused when a vehicle was turned left on Woodwick by O’Neal when a second vehicle hit the rotating car on the back of the passenger.

The first vehicle then hit a third, separate car, which was stopped in the red light of Woodwick.

A person inside the vehicle that has rotated is removed from an observer who tried to help. Later, the person was declared dead. Another resident of the hit car was brought to the hospital, but it is not clear how many people were in the car, MPs said.

No one in the other cars had been injured.
