Hamas says he will launch hostages as scheduled this weekend – public radio in South Carolina

Tel Aviv – The Hamas High School said on Thursday that he plans to release the next group of Israeli hostage This Saturday as it was scheduled in Deal to end the fire.

In a statement, Hamas said three Israeli hostages would be released this weekend and thanked the efforts of the intermediaries, Qatar and Egypt. Israeli officials did not immediately comment on Hamas’s message.

An Egyptian employee with the knowledge of the conversations, speaking of the conditions of anonymity as they are not authorized to speak with the media, told the NPR that there was an agreement, as well as another employee familiar with the details that was also not authorized to speak to Speak publicly.

Hamas said on Monday that he would postpone the release of the next group of Israeli hostages scheduled for this Saturday, accusing Israel of breaching the conditions of the first phase of the fire termination transaction, which came into force on January 19.

Israel has threatened to resume hostilities with Hamas in Gaza on Tuesday, unless the military group releases hostages under the fire termination agreement.

The circle of accusations that seemed to have the imperial fragile deal came as President Trump said the Palestinians would not be allowed to return to the gas under his plan for the United States to take the gas and move the residents of the enclave.

Last weekend, Israel and Hamas exchanged three Israeli hostages for dozens of Palestinian detainees and prisoners. So far, five such exchanges have been carried out, releasing 16 Israeli hostages in exchange for more than 670 Palestinian prisoners and detained. Hamas agreed to release 33 Israeli hostages in the first phase of the transaction in exchange for about 1900 Palestinian prisoners and detained.

Thousands of Palestinians have poured north into Gaza after the fire has begun, a lot of walk, returning home and residential buildings that have been destroyed in battles that have seen over 47,000 killed Palestinians, according to the Gaza health authorities.

The conflict began on October 7, 2023, when fighters from Hamas and other groups broke the border with Israel and killed about 1,200 people and took more than 250 hostages, according to Israeli authorities.
