Western Midlands police continued to investigate two fatal strikes of Birming and Running in Birmingham in just 24 hours.

A man was fatally wounded after a car hit him on identical Road, in Skhford, at 9.10pm, on Sunday, February 9th.

While in a separate incident, another man, aged in the 50s, also died after two vehicles crashed at Stratford Road, in Hall Green, at 7.15pm, on Monday, February 10th.

Police continue to investigate the death of a man in Shchford, who is not officially identified by power.

He was treated at the scene, but despite the best efforts of the ambulance colleagues he died.

The driver failed to stop at the scene and inquiries continue to follow them, police said.

Detective Sergeant Rich Evans of the serious clashing team said: “Inquiries are currently underway to track the driver, but I would call them to do the right thing and surrender.

“We are conducting CCTV inquiries in the area. Audley Road, Flaxley Road and Iron Lane will remain closed through the bigger part of this morning.

“We are attracted to witnesses and for anyone who may have CCTV or Dashkam, from around the area to go forward.”

Hall Green Fatal

Two men were arrested while police continued to investigate the death of a man in Hall Green.

The collision included two vehicles, BMW and Honda, on Stratford Road.

The driver of Honda was found seriously wounded and despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died in the hospital a little later.

BMW residents escaped from the stage. Later in the evening, two men introduced themselves in a police station in connection with the clash.

Both were detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. One of the men, a 19-year-old, was taken to a hospital for health inspections, and the second man, 18, was removed while our investigations continue.
