Early voting starts Monday in Texas, here’s where you can vote early in Lubbock County – News/Talk 790 KFYO

Early voting in Texas begins Monday, October 21 for the November 5 general election. Both major parties are encouraging voters to get out and vote early this election cycle, and for many voters, they can’t wait to vote.

For those voting in Lubbock, you’ll have multiple vote centers open starting Monday at 8 a.m., and that includes many United Supermarkets locations.

Early voting for the Nov. 5 election will run from Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Nov. 1 in Lubbock County and throughout Texas. Polls in Lubbock County will be open most days from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, October 27, from noon to 6:00 p.m.

You must have an acceptable form of ID to vote. This may include a Texas driver’s license, Texas ID card, Texas Election ID, Texas Concealed Handgun License, United States Military ID, Certificate of US Citizenship or Naturalization, or a US passport. According to the Lubbock County Elections Office, here are the locations of vote centers where you can vote starting Oct. 21. Remember, if you are a registered voter in Lubbock County, you can vote at any of the following locations.
