SEPTA Parade Schedule: What do you need to know about transit tariffs, adjusted train services for Philadelia Super Bowl – 6ABC Philadelphia

Philadelphia (WPVI) – The countdown is on the Eagles Super Bowl victory parade on Friday.

The Eagles will be displayed for their fans from Broad Street to Ben Franklin Parkway on Friday, and preparations are already underway.

Before the holiday, Septa announced some corrections to train services and tariffs that riders need to be aware.

The city expects to turn out to be a million people, which means that the tour of the city of public transport will have to be considered coordinated.

Septa says they are preparing to serve hundreds of thousands of riders who expect to use the travel system to and from the festivities.

Transit officials called on people on Wednesday to be prepared.

Sept in the city

Officials say the Market-Frankford line [L] and the wide street [B] The lines are the best options for traveling to and from the event.

He also rides along the line of Market-Frankford, and Line Street Line will be free throughout the day to help people get to and from the parade.

As none of the line will transport passengers to the town hall, employees say they are ready to walk.

The Market-Frankford line provides access to Center City from many suburban communities in the 69th street transport center, with links to the high-speed Norristown line, the routes 101 and 102 carts (more stroller details below), as well as many many Bus routes. L also connects to external points by bus and trouble -free operation at Frankford’s transport center.

To reach Line Line, customers can connect from multiple bus routes at the Fern Rock Transport Center, Transport Center Olney, and other stations.

Septa says they will use as many railways as possible to provide additional capacity for riders.

The following stations will be opened, although Septa says additional closure are possible depending on the crowds:

Septa Regional Railway

Regional railway lines will operate on a limited, modified service from 4:30 to 22:50 on Friday.

Regional trains will only work for an entry morning and outgoing only after the parade.

Septa also offers a special omission of $ 10. It is on sale on Wednesday and must be purchased personally at the Regional Railway Sales Service before Friday, employees said.

Passengers will also not be able to buy a ticket for all regional railways on the day, but your Septa key cards will work. Officials said to make sure you load your card or buy a pass some time ago.

Tickets will not be sold on Friday to regional railway stations.

“You have to arrive at the Parade Day station with a tariff tool in your hand – either a loaded key card or a one -day omission we sell. We go to validate the tariff tool for all before they go up,” Septa’s tells the temporary general manager , Scott A. Sauer.

Each train can hold 1000 people. Still, having a ticket does not guarantee that you have a place, so fans plan to arrive early.

“As 4 or 5 in the morning, I will try to get there to be the first train line and be ready to go,” says Anthony Jankarino of Downtown, Pennsylvania.

The one -day pass will be valid for 10 rides in all modes and if not used on the day of the parade, it can be used on another date of the client’s choice.

Service to Center City will be available through the stations of Jefferson and the 30th street, which SEPTA employees note is on a short walk from the parade route.

Customers are urged to settle to be dropped on or near their station, as parking will be limited and stains are expected to be filled quickly.

Bus deviations and strollers

Regular tariffs will apply for buses and carts.

Septa buses will be diverted to and around Broad Street, starting late Thursday night.

Bus routes 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 16, 17, 21, 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 37, 38, 40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 48, 64, 79, 124, 125 and G will be diverted from their normal routes.

On Friday, the 29, 45 and 79 bus routes will be stopped; The service will be resumed when the closure of the City street is erected.

City strollers 10, 11, 13 34 and 36 will not stop at the stations on the 13th or 15th street. Septa said additional adjustments are possible.

The 101 and 103 carts and the Norristown high -speed line will stop the entire station with service every 15 minutes.

CCT Paratransit will manage regular service on weekdays, although the trip can be significantly influenced by the closure of Rolling Road and heavy pedestrian traffic, Septa says. If possible, Septa encourages customers who plan for medical trips near the parade route to defer their meetings.

Patco Service is changing

Patco said he would also work on a modified parade schedule.

If you take Patco to City Center from New Jersey, there will be a limited service that starts at 4 o’clock in the morning on Friday.

From 6am to 1pm on Friday, Patco will only work west of four stations in New Jersey: Lindenwold, Woodcrest, Ferry Avenue and City Hall, with continuous service up to 9/10th & Locust Street.

During this time there will be no service to the east.

Starting at 1:00 pm, Patco will move on to the service of a service only to the east of 9/10 & Locust Street. Normal service is expected to resume at 19:00

The parade starts at the sports complex at 11 o’clock on Friday and will end with a ceremony at the steps of the Museum of Arts in Philadelphia at 14:00. The team expects the ceremony to end at 15:15.
