Arrest made when shooting in Topeka, which left a person in critical condition – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) – A person from Topeka is facing aggravated battery charges in connection with the shooting of Topeka, which puts another in critical condition.

The Topeka Police Department says he has booked 27-year-old Robert Bennett in the Sinny County County Department for a weighting battery and an aggravated shooting attack reported on Tuesday, February 11th.

Officers were summoned to the shooting near the SE 2ND St. and Golden Ave. Shortly before 10:30 Tuesday. They arrived to find a man suffering from a firearm, claiming he was shot by someone who was known to him.

The victim suffered life -threatening injuries to shooting.

During the suspected search, employees also claimed that they had found the vehicle belonging to the then in the 300 block of SE Lime St., but no one was found at this address.
