LSP: Sentenced Sexual Crime among 2 men arrested in an illegal investigation into Deepfake – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – A DeepFakes investigation depicting child pornography has led to the arrest of two men of Pointe Coupe parish, according to State Police in Louisiana.

Deepfakes are images, videos or audio that are edited or generated using artificial intelligence tools and which can depict real or non -existent people.

The troops identified the suspects as the 40 -year -old Ryan Glazer from Oscar, and Gregory Duncan, Jr., 24, from new roads.

According to the LSP, the investigation began in July 2024, after probation in Louisiana and the West Baton Rouge release service found materials for sexual abuse of children during a routine check on a glazer mobile phone, convicted sexual criminal.

Following the arrest of the glazer, the soldiers said investigators found that Duncan was the man who created and spread the material for sexual abuse over the child.

According to LSP, Glazer was charged with four charges of possessing illegal Deepfakes and booked at the West Baton Rouge prison on July 24, 2024. Duncan was charged with distribution of illegal depths and booked at the Ibervil 4 2025 parish prison on February 4, 2025 G.

The Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP SVU) Worked with Homeland Security Investigations, Baton Rouge Field Office (HSI Brfo) USMS), LSP Fugitive Apprehension Unit (LSP FAU ), and the LSP Criminal Investigation Department and the Baton Rouge Field (CID Brfo) field of their investigation.

The LSP states that its SVU unit is working to rescue and seek justice for victims of crimes related to the operation of children and trafficking in people for gender or labor through investigative partnerships with local, state and federal law enforcement authorities and through public education.
