Phoenix – at least one person is dead and many people were injured on Monday after private planes collided at an airport in Arizona, authorities said, the last incident at the time of increased air safety control in the United States.

Kelly Queester, a spokesman at Scottsdale Airport, told a briefing on evening news that Learjet, arriving from Austin, diverted from the track in a parked plane. The main gear of the arriving plane seems to have failed when landing, causing the collision, Queester said.

Scotsdale Airport is located about 22 miles northeast of Phoenix.

On Monday afternoon, Captain Dave Folio, a spokesman for a fire service in Scottsdale, confirmed death and four injuries, adding that two people were in critical condition. Foil said the track is an active investigation scene.

Officials refused to identify the wounded or killed on Monday night.

“Learjet 35a diverted from the track after landing and crashed into a business aircraft Gulfstream 200 on the ramp at Scotsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona around 2:45 pm,” the federal aviation administration confirmed in a statement. “There were four people aboard Learjet and one person aboard Gulfstream.”

Authorities said FAA and the National Transport Safety Council would investigate the crash. NTSB will also lead the investigation and provide updates on the incident.

According to records reviewed by the Arizona Republic, part of the USA Today network, Jet is registered with Chromed at Hollywood, Inc., based at Wyoming Company, and lists the lead singer of Mötley Crüe Vince Neal as the owner.

A statement published by Warrick Robinson, the singer’s legal representative, confirmed to USA Today that Neal is not aboard the aircraft.

“At 14:39 local time, a model of the Learjet 35A -owned Airplane, owned by Vince Neil, was trying to land at the Airport in Scotsdale. On this, unknown reasons at this point, the plane diverted from the track, causing it to collide with another Parked plane, “the statement read. “There were two pilots and two passengers aboard the plane of G -n -Nil.

Kelly Queester, coordinator of aviation planning and information information about the Airport in Scottsdale, said Neil’s Learjet arrives from Austin, Texas and diverted from the track before colliding with the Gulfstream G200 JET parked in private property.

“It seems that the left main outfit failed when landing, which leads to the incident,” Queester confirmed.

The crash on Monday is the last incident as the nation is fighting increased concerns about air safety.

In recent weeks, the National Council of the Transport Safety Council has examined three deadly crashes; The collision of the middle of a passenger plane and a helicopter of the US Army Black Hawk in Washington, Colombia, which killed 67 people; A medical reactive disaster in Philadelphia, which killed seven people; and a plane crash in Alaska, which killed 10 people.

Gary Maskaro, Aviation Director at Scottsdale Airport, offered his condolences to the victims of the crash on Monday.

“This is certainly a tragedy that has happened,” Mascaro said.
