Joan’s National Craft Merchant expects to close approximately 500 stores across the country as part of current bankruptcy proceedings, according to CNN.

Stores in all 50 states will close with California, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington among countries that are expected to be the most severe hit with the closure. A list of the right places that are closed is not provided by the company and no specific closure schedule has been given. Closures are expected to begin in the coming months.

“It was a very difficult solution, given the main impact we know will have on the members of our team, our customers and all the communities we serve,” a Joan spokesman told CNN.

Currently Joann operates more than 800 stores in the US
