Boise Cascade appoints Joanna Barney as the Executive Vice President of Distribution of Building Materials – Lesprom Network

Boise Cascade Company (NYSE: BCC) announces the promotion of Joanna (Joe) Barney as the Executive Vice President of the Distribution of Building Materials (BMD), effective February 17, 2025. It will run more than 40 distribution facilities, including mill stores and doors, in the US, according to the company’s statement.

Barney has been with Boise Cascade since 2005, before he was the senior Vice President of BMD Western Operations. Her previous roles include BMD Western Operations General and Salt Lake City branches manager, Utah. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Utah and is the founder and executive director of the Youth Football Club of Utah Avalanche.

Chief Operating Officer Jeff Strom emphasized Barney’s leadership and commitment to the company’s values, expressing confidence in its impact. The CEO Nate Jogensen praised his experience in leadership and service, stating that he would be distinguished in this extended role.
