Residents in Northern Virginia woke up to the significant snowfall when a winter storm moved through the region overnight, leaving behind impressive snow sums. The district of Prince William County, Stafford County, Frederixburg, District District and Manasas received up to 9.5 inches of snow, according to the trained spots and reports of the National Meteorological Service (NWS).

The most serious snowfall is registered in Manasas and parts of Stafford County, where the accumulations approached 9.5 inches. Many roads throughout the region remain covered with snowy and dangerous, which prompts the closure and delay of schools for Tuesday.
