The former teacher pleads guilty to possession of child porn – kgns

Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – A former teacher admitted that he had downloaded and had child pornography on his computer.

42-year-old Roberto Ortiz Jr. has pleaded guilty to an accusation, accusing him of possessing child pornography. The court documents say the investigation began in May last year when law enforcement officers have downloaded files containing child pornography from the IP address associated with Ortiz.

When the authorities complied with a search order, they found out where Ortiz kept his withdrawal content. Forensic analysis revealed over 3000 files containing child pornography on the computer and Ortiz external disc.

The special group for the operation of children of the FBI and Laredo is heading the investigation. Currently, Ortiz is waiting for a judicial trial on May 19, where he can face a time in the federal prison and a maximum fine of $ 250,000.
