Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – The former Pahrump Justice of the Peace Michele Fiore has requested a new process after jurors have found guilty to the management of a charity scheme.

Fiore was suspended from her judicial position without pay in October after jurors condemned her for wire fraud for the pocket to $ 70,000 donations intended for a memorial in honor of the fallen police officers.

Instead, she uses the money to pay for personal expenses, including her daughter’s wedding, according to the prosecution.

The new submission claims that Fiore was denied a fair process due to “culmination of errors”, including witnesses without “personal knowledge” about the campaign, incorrect jury instructions and the failures of her lawyer.

Witnesses mentioned in the submission include the daughter of Fiore, Shena Seague and Nicole Beck, the widow of the fallen officer Alin Beck.

Fiore claims that Seagel’s time in the position of witnesses is prejudice because of a pre -established immunity agreement that defended her daughter. While a cross -check of prosecutors is crossed, Fiore’s daughter will testify that the signatures for fundraising may are her mother’s signature or she may be hers. ”
