Golden Knights organize the First Hockey League in Las Vegas High School – News3lv

Vegas’s golden knights have announced the start of the latest hockey league in the high school player region.

According to a Tuesday announcement, the Vegas Hockey League (VGKHSHL) will be the Co-one League, open to teenagers born between 2008 and 2011.

“The announcement says it is a long -standing goal of our organization to enable high school athletes to present the areas in which they live,” said Senior Vice President of the Hockey and Facilities Senior Vice President. “We are excited about this step and we hope it develops as the hockey in the valley continues to grow.”

There will be eight geography -based teams:

  • Centennary/North Las Vegas
  • Summerlin
  • Summerlin South
  • Spring Valley/Durango
  • Enterprise/Hanthem
  • Paradise/green valley
  • North Henderson/Black Mountain
  • Southeastern Handerson/Foot

Selection camps will be held in March at City National Arena at Summerlin and American First Center in Henderson. Each area will have a major and insignificant team based on abilities.

The seasons will continue from April to July with 15 games and five team practices.

The teams will not be officially linked to high schools, but each team will represent areas that feed on multiple schools.
