On February 12 and 13, Nortlanders of Dulut and St. Louis County will generally meet with MPs in St. Paul to advocate for their needs.

Duluth & St. Louis County in Capitol is an event that has been happening annually for nearly three decades and allows people in the area to contact those in government.

“I think the most important impact we see from Dulut and the County of St. Louis is paying in the Capitol is that this is a single voice. It is us, as a chamber, as a city, as a county, as a regional business community and say: “These projects are really important not only to these individual businesses, but also for our community, for our region, for our local economy. “Said Daniel Fanning, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce at the Dulut region.

Several organizations will make the trip, and Fanning says the chamber’s priorities seem to be the benefit of the region as a whole.

“Many of its economic impact – whether it is against the airport, the 148th, it is much more than even Dulut projects. We are talking about some of the other projects we are talking about, such as the priorities of the city, such as a small water treatment plant. We need this not only for Dulut but also for the surrounding area. These are not necessarily wanting. These are needs and they really help to promote the economic impact in this region. “

The Chamber expects hundreds to visit during the two -day affair, which is divided into two events. On February 12, a grand admission will be held at the Intercontinental River End of St. Paul, where legislators will meet with those in the region. On February 13, legislative breakfast will include selected employees to inform visitors of current events in government.
