Virginia M. Ginny Lutz, 94 -year -old, from Clay Township, died on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the WELLSPAN Ephrata community hospital. Born in Reading, Virginia is the daughter of the late James and Anna (McCartan) Phillips. She was Gilbert J.’s loving wife. Lutz for 63 years until its transition in 2013.

Growing up in Wyomissing, Ginny is a graduate of 1948 in Wilson High School. Given that she was the biggest child in her immediate neighborhood, she quickly became a favorite babysitter. Her caring heart grew with her as she happily juggled, helping her husband with administrative work for his construction addictive business, raising her family and taking care of her mother. To make sure that her family has everything she can ever need, Ginny will add strange jobs to her already busy schedule. Ginny has been a member of our mother’s Catholic Church for Eternal Aid (OMHP) for over 50 years. Previously, she sang in the church choir and driving school buses for the Omph School.

Ginny never said no challenge and loved to put her heart into the work he was pursuing.

She was a member of Maria’s legion and voluntarily joined all their functions. Ginny has been involved in the march of life from the beginning and advocates for life at all stages. Ginny was an animal lover, giving her heart to the dogs and cats he kept. She specializes in a pen and ink artistry and enjoyed cooking. Ginny had a strong devotion to her faith. Its perfect combination of excellent working ethics and generous heart will be deeply missed by all.

Virginia survived three children, Bruce Lutz of Wernersville, Christine (Gary) Hamer of Birdsboro; Kelly (Daniel) Weidman of the Ephra; nine grandchildren; seventeen great -grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; Sister Susan Ernesto of Schillington. Together with her husband and parents, Virginia is preceded by son Michael Lutz; granddaughter, Michel Lutz; and two brothers, James Phillips, Lieutenant, Colonel and Richard Phillips.

Inspection will be held on Friday, February 14 from 10:00 to 11:00 with a funeral liturgy starting at 11:00 at the Catholic Church of Omph, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, PA 17522. Virginia will be laid to Be a rest at the Ghetsyiman Cemetery.
