Besser PD arrests ‘Dangerous Suspect’ at Random East Birmingham Shoots – WBRC

Besser, Ala. (WBRC) – The Besemer Police Department has arrested a man after claiming that police in Birmingham has looked at numerous reports on social media about a man in Black Nissan Maxima, which is being filmed in people in the eastern part of the city.

Around 4:30 pm, authorities claim that Birmingham PD detectives notice the vehicle of the suspect in the parking lot of Besemer Walmart. They called the police in the Besemer and the Sheriff Department of Jefferson to cooperate.

When the officers arrived at the scene, the vehicle escaped. After a short pursuit, police claim that the driver had fled on foot.

Numerous agencies, including those from Besemer, Birmingham, Jefferson, Hoover and Fairfield, all answered and created a perimeter.

Police claim that the suspect – Demario Ladel Keith – was removed.

Keith faces numerous accusations, including numerous drug trafficking allegations, certain persons banned from possessing a firearm, attempt to avoid drugs.

Birmingham PD says the suspect was armed with a weapon when it was located.
