Ask Joe: There is still no final report on the out -of -Renault flight crash in 2023 – Krnv

Some of you have requested an update to the investigation of the StageCoach flight aircraft in 2023.

Here’s what I found:

This crash happened on February 24, 2023. The care plane left Renault during a snowstorm and was directed to Salt Lake City when he crashed into a field in Stagecoach, in Lyon County.

All five people on board were killed.

The preliminary investigation was released about a month after the crash. This initial report suggests that the aircraft may have fallen into the air. Investigators say that part of the wing is found at a considerable distance from the rest of the remains, which is what made them believe that the disintegration of the middle air is guilty.

What made the wing to split is what federal investigators continue to explore.

NTSB says his investigation is in its final stages. The report must undergo a thorough review before being published on the public. The agency said early that the full investigation would take about two years.

NTSB spokesman Peter Knudson says the final crash report is likely to be published this spring.
