Climate Change Problem: How Boise Youth gets involved in solution – Public Radio Boise State

On Monday, the city of Boise announced $ 85,000 for funding for second -year grants from climate -based climate -managed projects.

The money will give young people a chance to create their own climate change projects. Last year, the Fund paid for 16 projects, including the installation of electronic bicycle loading stations and the construction of new pollinator gardens.

Take action helps children fight the “despair of the climate”, Saidjen Wolf. It facilitates the Boise Youth Climate Council and will talk about the Council in the St. Luke and Health series lecture series next week, along with Jisong Ryu, Student Co-Chair of the Youth Climate Council and Dr. Lori Ryon, John Hopkins instructor for climate and health.

All three joined Idaho projects for project review.
