99 percent of Augustana graduates report a positive career result – siouxfalls.business

A New report The University of Augustana shows that 99 percent of the graduates of 2024-who have completed degrees in August, December and May of the academic year 2023-24-they have a positive career result.

Many of these university graduates have chosen to continue their education, with 26 percent enrolled in postgraduate or professional programs.

“The 2024 class has been remarkable when it began its journey after college. To help achieve these results on Augustan Student Success Center Provides constant and consistent professional commitment – offering individual support, mentoring to graduates, career fairs and unique events together with public organizations and business partners.

“Everything about my experience in AGI was meaningful. This is the community, the dedication of both the faculty and the students, and the common goal of building one another who has made my experience on Augie Transformative, ”says Yue Wang, a graduate of 2024 and a double specialty biology and psychology.

“The most significant experiences I had at the University of Augustana were the opportunities I had within the framework of the Nursing Program,” says Luke Bachiali, a graduate and specialty nurse in 2024. “I was able to learn and see so much through The clinics that were provided to me. I also had the opportunity to be a senior mentor and to help the inbound nurses class and to guide them. The nurses department is so excellent and I am beyond grateful that I have received guidance from the incredible faculty. ”

Using instructions set by National Association of Colleges and EmployersAugustana received information about 89 percent of the last graduates – exceeding NACE’s minimum knowledge percentage with 24 percentage points.

Class of 2024. Basic statistics

  • Ninety -nine percent of graduates achieved a positive career result, such as continuing their education, work, service in military or volunteering.
  • Among the surveyed 26 percent are recorded in postgraduate or professional programs. Students who have sought admission or continuing education have been accepted 99 permission.
  • After graduation, graduates from 2024 reported work in 23 states, as well as in Norway, Paraguay, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
  • South Dakota has retained 61 percent of AU full -time graduates, including 55 percent working in the Sioux Falls area.
  • The members of the class of 2024 have been hired by 132 organizations. Included the best employers Avera and Sanford Health, as well as the Sioux Falls school district.
  • The average salary for students from students in the 2024 class, who worked full -time, was $ 54,770, with an average salary of $ 54,500.
