Malfunction of equipment accused of fatal clash on Earth in Scotsdale – flying

One man was killed and the other three injured on Monday, when two business planes collided on the ground at Scottsdale Airport (KSDL) in Arizona.

The incident happened around 14:39 MST when the airport staff said Learjet 35A arrives from Austin, Texas, diverted from the track and hit a parked Gulfstream G200.

“According to the initial reports, Learjet Left’s main left failed in landing leading to the collision,” said Kelly Kuster, a public information employee at the airport.

According to FAA, four people were aboard Learjet and one person was on board Gulfstream, which was parked at Jet Pros LLC, a private business. According to employees, Learjet was registered with Chromed at Hollywood Inc. And it is owned by the lead singer of Motley Crue Vince Neal. There were two pilots and two passengers aboard the plane, but Neal was not among them. The parked Gulfstream G200 has been registered with the Israel Aircraft Industries, the National Transport Safety Council (NTSB) said.

One man was dead on his arrival at the hospital, the other two were transported with critical injuries, and another had life -threatening injuries, said Captain Dave Foil, a spokesman for a fire service in Scotsdale, during a media briefing on Monday. One person refused medical treatment. Foil said one person was temporarily trapped in the remains. He did not indicate which plane the man was on board.

The airport was closed a few hours after the incident.

NTSB runs the investigation, works closely with local employees and FAA.
