Martha Washington Society reveals 2025 WBCA Costumes in Laredo – KGNS

Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Martha Washington Society (SMW) held its suit, revealing on Saturday, February 8, at 3:00 pm. The event took place at the home of Dr. Michael and Mrs. Patsy Gallo.

Mini Dora Hines Rodriguez will play the first lady on the ground, dressed in a bright red velvet and a satin colonial dress. The dress has a spoonful neckline, lace sleeves and waistcoats and skirts, decorated with colored crystals. Hand -stretched designs of flowers, leaves and baskets add to the workpiece.

Russell Lee Lee, as a chief commander, will wear a military -style black velvet with gold lining, buttons and shoulder decorations. His gaze also includes lace -trimmed cuffs, satin cardigan and Duchess’s satin pants. He will finish the outfit with a trick and leather riding hat.

Both costumes designed by Linda Leyendecker Gutierrez will be worn at upcoming Washington’s (WBCA) birthday events in Laredo.
