Chesapeake – If Chesapeake Lady Panthers had their own way, the teams will surround the third quarter and go straight to the fourth quarter.

For the second time in the week, the third quarter was crucial to Chesapik’s success, as Lady Panters lost on Saturday to Cable Midland Lady Knights, 44-39.

“The third quarter killed us again. The same thing happened against Ironon on Monday, “said Chesapiker Chris Bal.

The game started well for Lady Panthers as they took a 13-7 lead, with Kate Bal scoring 5 points and Erin Hicks scored 4.

Faith Thompson struck 3-Indication for Midland (9-10).

Chesapik added the lead in the second quarter and continued forward 21-14 at the half.

Hicks caught 3-indicated and scored 5 points, and Chloe Parot also hit 3-indicated Lady Panthers.

Brailon McGuire hit a threesome and Kami Smith scored 3 points.

But then came the collapse of the third quarter, as Chesapik was exceeded 19-6 when Midland moved on by 33-27.

Gracie Day received the hot hand as he knocked three 3-indicatives until he scored 13 points. McGuire added another threesome and Sophie Kelly hit free throw.

Clairine Romans, Sierra Nichols and Ball had the 3 Lady Panthers baskets.

Chesapique tried to get together in the fourth quarter just to fall.

The ball drained a pair of 3-indicators, while Hicks also made a 3-indicat and was 3 out of 4 of the foul for 6 points.

But Midland stayed as Kelly scored 6 points as four different players scored.

Hicks scored 15 points and Bal scored 13 points for Lady Panthers (11-11).

Midland day foot with 16 points while Kelly scored 11.

Chesapeake will host West Union on Thursday in the Division Division County Tournament.
