The Mustangs won their ninth straight true road game, putting a 3-0 road cap against ACC opponents.

Despite giving up six turnovers, SMU’s defense held strong and a clutch field goal block sent the game to overtime.

Running back Brashard Smith rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime. Gadget punter Roderick Daniels Jr. had 159 all-purpose yards on three total touches.
