Tallahasee, Florida (WCTV) – Donna Adelson’s defense attorneys insist that she be released from prison to wait for a lawsuit, claiming she was threatened and blackmailed by other prisoners.

The Sheriff of Leon County Sheriff confirmed last week that Adelson had been placed in a protective custody after she claims she had been attacked in a prison bath. A LCSO spokesman said the alleged incident occurred in December but was reported until last week. The sheriff’s service is still investigating.

Adelson’s proposal to be placed on the bond includes allegations that she does not receive adequate medical care and has been repeatedly threatened and abused by other prisoners while in prison.

The movement describes in detail the estimated incident in December, in which Adelson claims that a prisoner inserted his face first into his bed and when Adelson asked why the woman did it, “the prisoner replied” because your {expletive} killer. “

He also claims that a prisoner has pulled Adelson’s hand behind his back while brushing his teeth in October and asked to start buying food and snacks from the prison dining room every week. The proposal states that Adelson has since bought a dining room worth over $ 1,000 for this prisoner because “she is scared of her life.”

Movement also describes an incident in the shower in which another prisoner touched her in an inappropriate manner.

The defense attorneys are asking the judge to determine the bond in the case, saying that Adelson does not pose a threat to the community or risk of flight, and her husband will move to Talahasi to stay with his waiting process if he is released.

Donna Adelson is the fifth person arrested in the recruitment plot. Four others, including her son, Charlie Addelson, are already raising time in prison for him.

Adelson’s attorneys also submitted a proposal to suppress Friday, hoping to keep a phone call in prison with her newly convenient son, Charlie Addelson out of court.
