The Sheriff of Gadsden County County identifies the “monster” that shot five people and killed two – Talahasi Democrat

Authorities identified the man who shot five people, killing two and injured a deputy, in a terrifying incident last week, covering several counties in North Florida and led to a massive police manipulator.

The Sheriff of Gadsden County and Sheriff Morris Young identifies the killer like Dominic Caroway, an 44-year-old man from Avondal, Arizona.

“It seems that Dominic has committed his abominable crimes as a” lonely wolf “(criminal action alone and independent of others without some connections),” the Sheriff Service said in a Monday publication on Facebook.

The sheriff’s service stated that his identity was confirmed by biometric identification, AFIS, the automated fingerprint identification system, person recognition technology and the status of the Arizona motor vehicles.

“Sheriff Young said the monster got what he deserves after taking the lives of innocent people and wounded three others,” the sheriff service said in the publication. He added that “this type of criminal behavior should stop” and with the help of federal, state and local law enforcement authorities, “will be stopped.”

“Sheriff Young said that criminal behavior of this character could send shock waves out of fear in a small community like a bastard,” says the Sheriffe cabinet. Finally, Sheriff Young said no one should or will have to live in fear while living, visiting a visit or working at Gadsden !! “

The man robbed the Mobil and Food Mart gas station on Friday afternoon, firing four people, killing the cashier, Laura Darley and a beer distributor, Julian Green of Talahasi and wound two customers outside. He escaped from the scene, prompting a multi-agency from state and local law enforcement.

After escaping from the stage, he led MPs, State troops and other agencies to persecute early Saturday, which ended with a crash in Sudvan County. After shooting and hurting a deputy and running, he was killed in a confrontation with Live Oak police.

A little is known about Caroway, which seems to have a low profile online.

“We call him the mysterious person because we really don’t know who he is,” Young said on Monday during a visit to Suvan County.

Legislators, sheriffs honor of a deputy shot dead in the performance of the obligations

Law enforcement officers, including Young and government officials, gathered on Monday in the sheriff of Suvan County to honor Deputy Justin Dalton, who was shot dead during the incident. Dalton, who used walking crutches, was presented with the American flag that flew over the state capitol during the shooting.

State Senator Corey Simon, R-Tallahassee and State Representative Jason Driver, R-Port St. Joe, they both participated in the ceremony. Simon urged people not to forget about the victims in Gadsden County, who “will not get a chance to hug their loved ones again.” He and the driver praised the law enforcement agencies.

“As a father, I think about it, my children may have been at this gas station or they could be on the interstation or they could be in the place where it ended,” Dr. said. “Everyone else is running away. You run to him. So thank you.”

Dalton thanked colleagues who responded to the incident and employees who attended the ceremony.

“Thank you all for everyone who comes today,” Dalton said. “I appreciate it. It means a lot to me and my family.”
