Frank Alman re -elected chief judge of the 2nd court circle – Talahasi Democrat

The judge of the Frank Alman chain will serve a second term as the chief judge of the second court chain, starting on July 1, according to a Monday message.

“It is an honor for me to continue to act as a chief judge,” Alman said in a statement. “The role presents challenges, but it is deeply useful to support our specialized judges and justice partners to ensure a fair and effective judicial system for the people of the second court circle.

“I am humble by the confidence that my colleagues have put in me through this re -election.”

Allman’s second term lasts until June 30, 2027. The second court chain is made up of Franklin, Gaddden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and a vacuum.

“In addition to his administrative duties as a chief judge, he also serves as a judge in the defined round of Franklin County,” the statement said.

Alman of Quincy was accepted to practice law in Florida in 1997 after graduating from Florida University’s Law College, according to the Florida Bar Law.

He was appointed to the bench in 2016 by governor Rick Scott after being an assistant state prosecutor for nearly two decades. It was re -elected without opposition in both 2018 and 2024.
