The analyst misses the hope of taking on the built -in RB of Patriots – Sports Illustrated

The patriots from New England did not receive many of their running backs in 2024, with defender Drake May actually representing the saving grace of their quick attack.

The most vivid problem was Ramondre Stevenson, who rushed to 801 yards and seven touchdowns, while an average of only 3.9 yards per transfer. He also runs NFL in Fumbles.

And that came as soon as Stevenson signed a three -year extension with the patriots.

As a result, some believe that the midfielder is a position that New England should upgrade this extra -season, but Brian Hines of Pats Ambon has provided hope for Stevenson in the midst of his struggles.

“Fumbles were the name of the game for Stevenson this season, as Patriots Lead Back put the ball on the ground seven times – the most among every back in football,” Hines writes. “As a ball carrier, Stevenson put a career in broken taxi (41), but the worst career yards of experience (3.9)-to a large extent because of 75 percent of his yards coming after contact. Count back as someone who will takes advantage of an improved offensive line game in front of him when he enters the first year of his four -year extension in 2025. “

So maybe Stevenson would be much more productive with a better offensive line in front? This is definitely a strong opportunity, as PATS had one of the oldest units on the offensive line – if not the worst – in football last season.

And to be fair, Stevenson has a 1000 yard campaign under his belt, which he achieved in 2022, when he dialed 1040 yards while registering a stable five yards for experience.

However, this does not justify the problem of Stevenson’s breakup, and if the 26-year-old does not correct, the patriots will have no choice but to look for a substitute.

We’ll see if Stevenson can recover in 2025
