UCI MBB Falling in a Praise Revenge against UCSD, 85-67 – New University

The UC Irvine Men’s Basketball Team (20-4, 10-2) fell to UC San Diego Tritons (20-4, 10-2) in a national television rematch for the highest place on the big west, losing 85-67 in February S 8 at the Center for Bren’s events. Earlier, the teams met at Liontree Arena in La Jola, where Ervine came to the top 60-52.

The energy at Bren was electric, with more than 260 UCSD students making the hike as part of the Operation Incashable Campaign, organized by KDST sports group. The 5,000 saved crowd celebrated the largest attendance of a home basketball home since February 2020.

He also commented on UCI’s protective gameplay to dare the UCSD’s historically poor shooters to be opened by three.

UC Irvine will look to bounce and protect its home court in a national television match against UC Santa Barbara on February 13th at the Bren Event Center.
