SF baseball: Saints survive a difficult weekend of Diamond – Santa Fe College

Santa Fe Saints had a challenging weekend facing difficult competition in three games in two days. After lagging early on Talahasi State College on Friday, the saints bounced on Saturday with a stubborn victory in a two -headed double against southern Florida.

Friday fights

The saints confronted the State College in Talahasi at home on Friday, quickly in difficulty. Talahasi popped up to 9-0 lead from the third innning, placing an SF in a deep hole. Despite their efforts to gather, the saints could not close the gap and fell by 13-5.

Two -voice drama

The saints traveled to South Florida State College for two games on Saturday afternoon. In the first game, the saints went to a promising start, marking two early tracks in the first Innning. But South Florida replied immediately, marking nine straight runs in half of the inning. SF couldn’t recover and the game ended with a loss of 9-2.

The second game was a battle back, with the saints taking an early lead before their opponent tied the game and forced additional submission. In the tenth pair of home tracks, he brought SF forward forever, winning a 9-2 win.

The saints return to action on Tuesday afternoon with a home match against TNXL Academy. The first terrain was set for 14:00 in Gainesville.
