Nominations are open for a competition to display the “most hound” things done in SC – wpde.com

The Alliance of South Carolina manufacturers (SCMA) launches the fourth annual “Production Madness: The Gutt thing in the competition of SC” on Monday.

This state competition shows the impact of the state production industry.

Society is also invited to vote for its favorite products made in the state.

The time line for the competition is the following:

  • February 10 – 20: Open nominations
  • February 24 – 27: Popular Voting
  • 3 – March 6: Voting Top 16 Brackets
  • 10 – 13 March: Voting on top 8 brackets
  • 17 – 20 March: Voting Top 4 Brackets
  • March 26: Winner announced in the State House with Governor Henry McMaster

Every product manufactured in South Carolina has the right to enter.

The nominations are open to their website.

The previous winners of the competition are:

  • The Talon, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. South Carolina Manufacturing (Timmonsville) in 2024.
  • F-16 Fighting Falcon, Lockheed Martin (Greenville) in 2023
  • Steel, Nucor Steel Berkeley (Huger) in 2022
