The 71-year-old Birmingham man killed in the I-59 crash near Trussville-Al.com

A man from Birmingham was killed in a crash with many vehicles who closed some of the Interstate 59 near TRUSSVILLE.

Jefferson’s coronary service has identified the victim as Ricardo L. Steele. He was 71.

The resignation happened at 10:32 Sunday on the I-59 south near the exit of Chalkiville Road.

Chief Deputy Corroer Bill Yates said Steel was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved. Additional details about the fatal disaster have not yet been released by the states of Alabama.

Steel is taken east of St. Vincent, where he was declared dead at 11:14. It is unclear if anyone else was injured.
