Police in Irring issues an emergency request to help find the missing 12-year-NBC DFW

The Irving authorities are looking for a missing 12-year-old girl who has never arrived on a birthday she was supposed to be on Sunday morning.

According to the Irving Police Department, Alison Ramirez-Lopez left her home on foot around 10am to attend the near birthday party, but never appeared.

Police say it was last seen in the 1000 Harlan Street block in South Irving. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with a black hood and black shoes with a pink sole. It is described as 5’6 “and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators say they believe that Alison may be in Alabama or an surrounding country, although they have not yet released details of why they suspect he is out of Texas.

Initially, police seek to issue a signal to amber (Athens) through the Texas Department of Public Safety. However, since Alison is thought to have left the state, it is currently not eligible for the criteria for this signal. Irving PD says they work to activate other signals and coordinate with law enforcement in neighboring countries to help distribute the word.

If the investigation causes it to return to Texas, the signal will be activated at this time.

Irving police also urges parents to talk to their children who may be friends with Alison to see if they have useful information.

Anyone with Alison’s location information should call 911 immediately.

This is a developing story. Check again for updates.
