However, it is often seen that stray animals face cruelty in the society. There are many cases where animals are lured just for fun. Recently, such an incident was witnessed in Gujarat where an influencer saw a garland around the neck of a stray dog.
An Instagram influencer with the username Maureen Moto shared the video showing the dog riding his bike. Maureen Moto stopped her bike when she saw the dog. Distraught at the scene, he tried to help the dog, but it seemed hesitant. Suspecting harm, the dog retreated.
However, after some time the influencer was able to gain the dog’s trust as it walked towards him. The influencer then removed the garland from his neck. The video went viral on Instagram and garnered over 4 lakh likes. People responded positively by praising his efforts. Some social media users have also shared similar experiences with dogs and other animals, including pigeons. A user commented how a pigeon got stuck in a net at school and all the students defied instructions to go to class until it was rescued.
