Demi Lovato’s sister Madison De La Garza lost her baby last month.
On Saturday, the 22-year-old actress shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, revealing that her boyfriend Ryan Mitchell’s first child had died after she underwent an emergency C-section on September 27.
“On the evening of September 27th, after an emergency C-section, Ryan and I held our little girl for the first and last time,” wrote the Desperate Housewives star, who plays Eva Longoria’s on-screen daughter Juanita Solis.
“Thank you, Xiomara, for making us the parents of the most perfect angel in heaven. Mom and Dad love you sweet girl.
Following the heartbreaking revelation, Lovato sent her love and support to the actress.
In the comments section of De La Garza’s post, the “Camp Rock” star wrote, “I love you so much Xiomara. An angel in every sense of the word. I will be your aunt forever. 💔.”
On her Instagram stories, Lovato also wrote, “Tearing my beautiful, perfect niece Xiomara. I’m so grateful I have to hug you. I will forever be your aunt. She then tagged her sister and added: “I love you so much.”
The couple’s sister, actress Dallas Lovato, also shared a poem in the comments section of De La Garza’s post.
“Baby girl Xiomara, I miss you everyday. I will take good care of your mother so you can fly away. Watch over us and guide us and give us little signs. One day we will come see you, it just might take a while,” Dallas wrote.
“Not a day will go by without you in our hearts.” I wish we had more time together before you had to go. So have fun in your new world, the one we can’t see. Because every breath I take, I’ll take one for z ♥️.”
Demi Jutes’ fiance also added his own message, writing: “I love you so much 🖤. Rest in peace baby angel Xiomara.”
Madison, who is the youngest of Demi’s three sisters, announced her pregnancy on Instagram in September.

“Thank you for making all my dreams come true. ♥️ Baby Mitchell 10.24.
