Children abducted in Alabama found in Wyoming; Arrested mom and a degree of degree – Crimeonline

Two children abducted by Alabama this month were found in Wyoming and their parents were arrested.

The 9-year-old girl and the 5-year-old boy were given to a family member at the end of January after a Decare police station said she had received a child abuse report and had launched an investigation. But on February 3, the mother of the children, Lean Vako, went to the home of a member of this family, took the children and fled.

Two days later, police said she had learned that Varko could have escaped from the state and that the stepmother of the children wilted Varko could be with them.

Decare police have provided an order for the mother for custody intervention and an order for abuse of children for the steps. Alabama’s law enforcement agency issued an emergency signal for a missing child and sought the public help in finding a family.

On February 6, police said they had learned that all four family members were in Cheen, Wyoming. Cheen’s police found Varkos’s vehicle at a local hotel, arrested parents on exceptional orders and took the children to a defensive custody.

Varcoes are behind bars in Laram County in anticipation of extradition in Alabama.
