Green Bay Packers legend Gilbert Brown posted against the backdrop of the transition of coach Dick Jauron – Sports Heroes of Wisconsin

On Saturday, Green Bay Packers and the NFL community were generally saddened to learn the news that longtime coach Dick Jaron died. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately he spread quickly. Jauron was 74 years old.

While he is best known for his days as the chief coach of the Chicago bears and Buffalo Bils, Jauron is also a coach of other NFL teams, whether he is like a protective coach of a beck or a defensive coordinator. He was so valuable that three different Packers coaches detained him with their staff after taking work at Green Bay.

He initially joined Packers as a secondary coach when Forrest Greg was the head coach. He was then detained by Lindy Infant and again by Mike Holmgren. In fact, he did not leave Green Bay until he was given the opportunity to be the first defense coordinator in Jacksonville Jaguars’s history.

In a phone call with Wisconsin’s sports heroic On Sunday morning, the hall of the famous Packers Gilbert Brown mourned the loss of coach Jauron, one of the most respected Green Bay coaches of staff, which included five future NFL main coaches.

“The coach was when he was with us, he was like a quiet storm. One of those coaches who quietly dealt with his work, but you understood what he was doing, “Brown said. “He deserved to become a major coach at every moment. To be able to see it grow, some boys enter certain positions and they change. They gain more power and change. He never did it. Of course, we were not around him when he was with Chicago, but you see him, you hear him. It will be heavily missed. “

Jauron was the coach of Packers defenders from 1986-1994. He worked with legendary players of Packers such as Doug Evans, George Teig, Chuck Cecil and Leroy Butler.

The former corner of Packers Tazim Tazem Wajed, the father of the current Packers Christian Watson receiver, also published the following statement of X (previously Twitter):

“RIP on my 1st coach of NFL position with Packers. Jauron was definitely a technical teacher in the game that caused DB to have an excellent leg work and “attack the ball”. With the exception of my President of the rookie (very unlike today), I never should play for him. But he definitely prepared me for another technician at Herm Edwards! True technical reporting coaches are evaluated by NFL subjects. “

Undoubtedly, there are hundreds of former players who feel the same as they lose Jauron coach. It will be missed by the NFL community.
