Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the transition of Edward Eddie Paul Gali, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, godfather and friend. Eddie left us on January 18, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on May 11, 1959, of Felicia and Italo, Ed Gali in San Pablo, California, Eddie spent her life as a proud and dedicated resident of Fremont.

Eddie will be heavily missed by her devoted wife Mary Galford, sister, Lorna Latram (Npa Galli) and her husband Steve; his daughter -in -law Laura Luca; His nephews, Luke and Melissa Mahaan tab, nephew and Godson Robert (Bobby) Luke, nephew Roy Mahan, Godson Gareth Coleman, Joe-Aan Galegos, Cousins ​​Norman and Larry Benikif, and many lengthened family members. He was preceded by his parents Felicia and Italo Gali.

Eddie’s career has been determined for years of dedication, with the roles in Syufy (Century) theaters for nearly 14 years in Union City Drive-in and 19 years in Home Depot. Wherever he worked, the kindness, generosity and quick wit of Eddie left a lasting impression. His contagious sense of humor can illuminate any room, and his boundless generosity – whether through an aid hand or a soothing word – made him an unwavering presence for those who are happy enough to know him.

Eddie’s happy place was his property in Grilly Hills. He loved the nearby community, the magnificent views and the ability to drive his tractor around the property, smiling his warm smile.

The family was a cornerstone of Eddie’s life. He gained great joy from the simple pleasures of life and was known for his warm heart and caring nature. Eddie’s love for the people around him was steadfast and his memory would remain a leading light for all who were blessed to share in his journey.

The review: 2/13/25 4-8 h. The funeral liturgy will be on 2/14 10:30 am in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 37588 Femont Blvd., Fremont. Funeral, following to the cemetery of the Holy Sepulcher, Mission Blvd. 26320, Hayward. Admission will follow with the Virgin Mary of Rosaria, 703 C St, Union City. Instead of flowers, the family kindly wants the Greeley Hill CA elementary school or the National Kidney Foundation.

Eddie’s memory will live in the hearts of those who knew him. While his physical presence is no longer with us, his love, laughter and kindness will always remain with us. Eddie was a really special soul and his inheritance of joy and love would never fade.
