Opinion: A huge upgrade of West Ham, initiated by Potter 24 -yo is completed in West Ham – Hammers News – West Ham United Fc

Graham Potter has already made one major upgrade in West Ham United.

And it seems that it has been somewhat under the radar at the London Stadium.

West Ham appointed Graham Potter to replace Julen Lopetegui a month ago, and the 49-year-old has already had a huge impact on the club.

Tim Stiden continued, with the recruitment guru Kyle McAlay replaced.

Potter made it clear that he was ready to put his faith in some of the extremely talented young players of the club.

However, the need for new signatures is clear and obvious to see.

Potter brought Evan Ferguson to London Stadium to the January transfer window while James Ward-Prose returned to the club after his unsuccessful loan for a Nottingham Forest loan.

This move divides the opinion between fans of hammers. However, there is a huge plus that seems to be missing.

Graham Potter’s decision is a terminal for the favorite of West Ham fans

If anything, Ward-Prowse will provide Potter with a really useful, experienced bench option.

He will also obviously be a real weapon for us from the set.

The other thing that does not seem to mention is exactly how much of the upgrade is Andy Irving.

The 24-year-old is a huge favorite for fans at the London Stadium, so it may be difficult for Hammers fans to admit that it is not really the necessary standard.

Ward-Prowse may not have the legs needed for Premier League football, but it is certainly better than Irving technically.

And the return of JWP to the stadium in London can say the end of Irving in West Ham.

Andy Irving is not in James Ward League

Unfortunately, the Scots are not fit to the Ward-Prowse boots.

Whatever you think of the 30-year-old, he is an immediate upgrade to Irving.

I realized that the 24-year-old has become a cult character in West Ham, but if we are all honest with himself, he is nowhere good enough to play football in the Premier League, right?

Irving is not a bad player at all – a solid operator who will undoubtedly build a decent career for himself.

However, this will not be at the highest level of the game in my opinion.

James Ward-Proos is the streets in front of Irving.

Despite the fact that some West Ham fans may not have been happy that Graham Potter returned the 30-year-old midfielder to the club, he is at least a huge upgrade to the Scots.
