Seattle – Braden Maldonado struck seven 3-tellers and scored 26, and John Christophilis made a 3-chap on the Zumer to rally the university in Seattle to win 67-65 over UT Arlington on Saturday night.

Darius Burford struck a 3-indicated 26 seconds to give the UT Arlington 65-62 lead. Maleek Arington answered eight seconds later to get Seattle U within a point and set the winner of the Christofilis game from ARINGTON assist. Burford and Lance Wayr have missed the front end of one and one options in the last 10 seconds for Mavericks.

Maldonado fired 8 for 12 (7 for 10 of the 3-point range) and 3 of 4 of the free throws for Redhawks (10-13, 5-4 Western Athletic Conference). Matthew-Alexander Montcriff total 12 points and eight rebounds. Dasin Stevens had 10 points and Christophilis scored seven of the bench.

Kade Douglas led the road to Mavericks (11-13, 4-6) with 15 points and six rebounds. Darius Burford added 13 points, six rebounds and four assists. Raysean Seamster joined with 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
