The Wisconsin Graduate Association hosts the Frosty Fun event as part of the Wisconsin Union’s Wiccan Carnival – WMTV

Madison, wis. (WMTV) – Yasovs of all ages celebrated winter and warmed up at the UW -Madison Alumni Park Visitors Center during the WisConsin Union Winter Carnival on Saturday.

With the winter carnival that is happening on Lake Mendota, the Frosty Fun event enabled participants to escape the cold and enjoy the free hot chocolate and apple cider as they explored Alumni Park exhibits.

The event included family activities such as crafts, telling stories with winter themes and dance party. Bucky Bager also made a special manifestation for guests.

“This is our opportunity to simply enjoy the company of the other, to have fun and to celebrate as a badger,” said Todd Profchard of the Wisconsin Graduates Association. “Whether you are a friend, an alum or you know a badger, everyone is welcome.”

The organizers said they had a higher percentage of attendance than expected.
