Kentucky moves in .500 after winning 80-57 over South Carolina – WTVQ

Lexington, KY. (ABC 36 News now) -The cats have returned to the column to win with the much needed victory over Gamecocks on Saturday 80-57.

Kentucky moved to .500 to SEC (5-5). South Carolina is already 0-10 in the conference.

Lamont Butler returned to the squad and began the game on Saturday. However, Butler and Jackson Robinson were both solutions to the game on Saturday after Robinson received a wrist injury on Friday. Butler had eight points and three assists, and Robinson raised six points and four assists.

The cats were led by Otega Oue, which finished with 17 points; 15 of those who come from the second half.

Brandon Garrison was just behind him with 15 points. Amari Williams and Kobe Brea finished with 10 points. Brea also distributed six career assists.

These were Kentucky’s best defense ratings in the conference so far; Restriction of South Carolina to 46% of the terrain and 27% of the three.
