Softball defeated in South Carolina – Athletics at Providence College

Colombia, SC- The Providence College Softball team ended their second day at Gamecock Invitational Gainst The Host Team, South Carolina, on Saturday, February 8, in Colombia, SC, brothers fell, 8-0, in five, to Gamecocks and moved to 0 -3 for the season. Junior Eliza Smith (Glen Alan, Washington) ended the day with the best teams two hits in the day. She was one of the four brothers who recorded a hit on the plate.

Notes for the game:

· Gamecocks took 5-0 lead at the bottom of the first Innning and added three more tracks to the second.

· Smith recorded the best team two singles on the brothers plate.

· Tori Griffone (Sussex NJ), Riley Quirk (Holden, Mass.), Jessica Walter (Middletown, del.) And Alyssa Twomey (Warwick, Ri) Everyone appears in a computer circle. The four pitchers allowed eight hits and eight tracks.

On deck:

The brothers will close the Gamecock Invitational Play tomorrow, February 9th, in a rematch against Toledo at 10:00 in Colombia, SC
