"Makes it look easy": Hoops fans respond to the dominant display of Gilbert Arenas Alyas Arenas over opponents at Victory 76-38 – Sportskeeda

The 5-star USC Commite Alijah Arenas has only a few matches left in their high school career. On Friday, he burst into a match against Taft High School in a match from West Valley League. It was a one-sided affair, as the Arena and Chancellors of Chatsworth dominated Taft Toreadors, 76-38.

Alijah Arenas, the son of the former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, was impressive in the highlights of Ball Is Life and that had fans to talk.

“It makes it easy to look because it’s easy for him. He’s bigger and much more skilled than everyone he plays against,” a commentator said.

“A great move, leaving him to play with this type with this type of team, he will get anyone’s bucket because of how he was learned and how he plays a ball,” another commentator said.

“Lmfao 38 points in the game is Krazy Taft Gotta to make a better lol,” said one commentator that Taft scores only 38 points.

Meanwhile, others talked about his smooth game, although there was also criticism for not handing over the ball to his teammates.

“A2 to Smoove is the slogan,” a commentator said.

“Ion accuse that I would not pass if I was so nice 😹😹 😹😹,” added another person.

“He is a college player in high school, so it’s easy,” another person expressed.

Chatsworth has shown that it can play protection in this game, with accents showing that Alijah Arenas has at least one block. It was a complete defensive victory for Chancellors as they limit TAFT to just 38 points. It was their second meeting of the season, with Chatsworth already beating them last February 3, with a final result of 79-53.

The arenas and other chancellors will face the Cleveland High School, the only West Valley team to beat them this season. Cleveland, who is currently heading the West Valley League standings, beat them last January 24 for overtime, 76-74. Chancellors will look for a payment on Monday.

There are only 3 matches left for Alijah Arenas and Chatsworth for the regular season

Immediately after this big rematch in Cleveland on Monday, Aliya Arenas and Chatsworth will take the Spartans in Silmar on the road next Wednesday.

Then, Chatsworth will have another game on West Valley League, this time against Birmingham on Valentine’s Day.

This will be their second meeting, with Chancellors having previously defeated the patriots at home, 79-58. Chatsworth has once again set off on the road for his last regular season game of 2024-2025.
