Kaiju No. 8 Marks Setsubun Festival with a new Visual – Anime Corner

Kaju No. 8 Visually revealed Setsubun as its entry for the February Hyakkei series. Setsubun is the Bob Festival and is celebrated on the day before the start of spring in the old calendar in Japan. This year it fell on February 2.

Last month, the visual was reserved for the first visit to the sanctuary during the year.

Thehe Kaju No. 8 Anime is back this July with the second season. The trailer for him was discovered during the recently held Jump Festa ’25. The franchise also receives a compilation movie for the first season that will include a Hoshina’s day special. It will be released on March 28, 2025.

The production IG animates the first season of anime, which debuts in the spring anime season 2024. Crunchyroll describes the story as:
In a world, struck by beings known as Kaju, Kafka Hibino seeks to join the defense forces. He promises to enroll with his childhood friend Mina Ashiro. Soon life accepts them in separate ways. While cleaning after Kaju’s battles, Kafka meets Renault Ichikawa. Renault’s determination to join the Raewakens Kafka defense forces to join Mina and protect humanity.
