Zinnia, a life and anjet insurance company based in Topeka, has recently fired 25 employees in its place of Topeka.

A spokesman for the company confirmed the cuts in the capital’s journal and said that those who were released were based on the location of Topeka, 5801 SW 6th Ave. The company has 2,400 employees, but does not say how much they are based in Topeka.

The company has not given the reason for the cuts.

Previously known as SE2, the company changed its name to Zinnia in 2022, stating that it would continue to offer services to third-party administrator, powered by fully digital experience, including hybrid instruments for origin and distribution, opportunities for engaging in customers and prices and trade.

Reporting to the rebrand is said that the basis of Zinnia is a new recording system built on smart contracts and digital book technology that is updated in real time and will create a reliable “one source” of information that can be distributed securely and effectively throughout the insurance ecosystem.

“These opportunities will interact seamlessly with their new recording system to create the open -ended life and annuity insurance market,” the company said.
