The call to promote our country has been around for some time. Various stakeholders including but not limited to the Uganda Tourism Board have long urged Ugandans to promote the Pearl of Africa.
One of the people who heeded the call is Source Garland, aka Soosi – a content creator known for his weekly “This Is How I Died” sketches and bread-munching antics at Premier League games.
On October 24, 2024, the CEO of Audio Beam Sounds excited his followers by hinting at the release of a new video. His followers expected it to be something to do with another Nigerian sketch star, Sabinus.
However, to their surprise, the newly revealed video is to promote the beauty of Uganda.
In a 4:20 minute video, Source Garland takes us through 4 essentials of pearl beauty;
- The Ugandan people he describes as hospitable.
- The extent of feeding in Uganda, which he uses the famous pressure analogy, as described in an English commentary.
- Nightlife Uganda.
- Top travel destinations, in the scene where he’s “watching Netflix with a new friend, a lion.”
The MutiChoice Uganda influencer believes that Uganda is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and encourages everyone to participate in the promotion.
