Trenton Henderson took his third visit to Obun a few weeks ago.

He already has a fourth planned.

The four-star protected end by Pensacola, Florida, was in the city for the junior tigers on January 25 and not long after planning an official visit back to the plains for May 16-18.

“I loved it,” Henderson said after the visit. “Just the environment and how they make me feel at home.”

Henderson, 6 feet-4 and 225 pounds, was appointed by Rock Bankoni, who was recently hired by Hugh Freez to serve as a defense end coach. This is the second stay in Obun, and he does not waste time back to Florida to hire by making a trip to see Henderson last month.

“It means a lot,” Henderson said. “This shows how much she takes care of me and how much he wants to train me at the next level … We’re just cool. He’s just a great person. I just like the ROC coach a lot.”

While on his visit to Obun, Henderson went from a protective shape with the tigers, spent time with the coaching staff and attended a basketball game between Obun and Tennessee.

“I really like the family atmosphere,” Henderson said. “You know, only the coaches. I like the energy around the building. Really all is everything.”

Where does Rud fit into its recruitment?

“Punn is sitting pretty high with me,” he said.

Other Henderson programs include Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and LSU. He will return to the opposite May 16-18 for his official visit.
