It was a night filled with hardware in Big Band as local programs raised the county basketball championships for boys and girls.

A total of six Big Bend programs won the regional championships, with two matches on Saturday. A pair of schools made the double win of two titles overnight between boys and girls.

Florida Hi and North Florida Christian won both the boys and the girls. Enchah won the boys title, with girls playing Saturday night against Ricards.

NFC Tops St. John Paul II 68-59

The Eagles asked for the title of the regional championship in the class 1A title game.

NFC won both matches against the Panthers this year and they claimed the first area of ​​the program since 2014.

Munroe wins classics vs. Blountstown 46-44

In a battle back for the rural district title, Munro beat Blountstown in a classic between two of the best teams in the region.

Godby defeats Ricards in the third meeting of season 46-38

The cougars beat Raiders in a third match between the two city rivals, winning the 4A District 2 class title.

The enthusiasm had lost the previous two meetings against Ricards, but on Friday night, the Cugari gathered a winning performance to demand circular gold.

Both programs sit at the top of the class and region rankings, and the rematch between the two programs in the Regional Tournament 4A is not out of the maps.

Florida High Victory in the Regional Title against Mariana 73-58

After falling into the title last season in Mariana, Florida Hi made no mistake on Friday by defeating Bulldogs 73-58 to ask for the class 3A 2A title.

Florida is highly dominated by the game, controlling the first half with a 40-20 lead before scoring 33 points in the second half to secure the victory.

Seminoles have collected an impressive summary this season, now adding district gold to their trophy. The high rows in Florida in the top 30 of the state programs and probably enter the 3A tournament as one of the best seeds in the region and the total highest seeds.

Gainsville defeats Leon 63-55

North Florida Christian defeats Famu Drs 59-42 for the County Championship

The Eagles brought two trophies at home on Friday night, as the NFC Girls’ Basketball Team defeated Baby Rattlers 59-42 to ask for Class 1A 1A title.

This is the second time the two programs met this season, with the NFC winning in both cases. The Eagles now win an automatic offer in the regional tournament.

Famu Drs ends season 3-19.

Florida highly blown Mariana 52-26 to ask for a department for an area

It was Deja Vu for Seminoles on Friday night, as the Florida High Girls’ Basketball team blew up Mariana 52-26 to win the title of class 3a 2A.

Seminols have led the Wire-to Wire to continue the dominance of the program district championship over the last decade.

Expect Florida High to be one of the best seeds in the 3A regional tournament with a record of 16-9.
